Terms of Use
Last updated: September 1, 2026
These terms apply when you use Yay You. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with Apple’s standard EULA, Apple’s terms control where required.
Using Yay You
Yay You lets you send messages, illustrated cards, reactions, and personal photos to people in private, invite-only circles. You are responsible for keeping invite codes private and for activity performed through your account or device session.
Yay You Magic can create an illustration and suggest a short message from a description you provide. Generated results may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to other generated material. Review and edit every result before sending it, and do not rely on the feature for medical, legal, mental-health, safety, or other professional advice.
You must be at least 13 to use Yay You. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age to agree to these terms or consent to data processing, a parent or guardian must review and accept these terms and provide any required consent.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you create or upload. You give Yay You a limited permission to store, process, resize, and deliver that content only as needed to operate and protect the service.
Only send content you have the right to use. Do not upload private material belonging to someone else without permission.
Kind and safe use
Do not use Yay You to threaten, harass, exploit, impersonate, deceive, or harm another person. Do not send illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, infringing, or malicious content, and do not attempt to bypass safety, access, or usage controls.
Yay You may filter content, investigate reports, restrict accounts, or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect people, comply with law, or enforce these terms. You can report a post and block a person from inside the app.
AI-generated content
Do not use Magic to request illegal, abusive, sexual, exploitative, deceptive, infringing, or privacy-invasive content, or to imitate a real person, protected character, logo, or artist. Yay You may reject prompts or generated results and apply usage limits to protect people, providers, and the service. You are responsible for deciding whether a generated card is appropriate to send and for having the rights required for your use of it.
Subscriptions
Yay You Plus and Yay You Magic are offered through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Magic includes the Plus benefits and up to three successful AI card generations per local calendar day. Unused generations do not roll over. Prices and any trial terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple handles billing, cancellation, and refunds under its policies.
Availability
Yay You may change as features are improved. Reasonable efforts are made to keep the service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may be modified or discontinued when needed for safety, reliability, legal compliance, or product development.
Ending use
You can stop using Yay You at any time and can delete your account in the app. Yay You may suspend access for serious or repeated misuse. Terms that by their nature should continue—such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations—remain effective after use ends.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Yay You is provided “as is” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Yay You is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited in your country.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The current version and effective date will remain available here. Questions can be sent to Aiden.Arnold@me.com.
