Yay You Support
Need help with Yay You? Email Aiden.Arnold@me.com. Include the device model, iOS version, and a short description of what happened. Please do not email private photos, invite codes, or sensitive account information.
Joining a circle
Open People, choose Join with a code, and enter the six-character invite code from someone you trust. Circles are private and limited to invited members.
Reporting or blocking
Open the menu beside a received post to report and hide it or block its sender. A blocked person’s posts are removed from your view. For urgent safety concerns, contact local emergency services first.
Deleting your account
Open You, scroll to the settings panel, and choose Delete account. Confirming the action permanently removes your profile, posts, stored photos, reactions, reports, memberships, blocks, and sessions.
Purchases
Open You to view Plus and Studio plans. Use Restore purchases on the paywall while signed into the same Yay You account used for purchase. Subscriptions can be managed in your Apple Account settings.
AI cards
Open Send → Make one with AI. Describe the moment and choose a tone. Enter an art style, such as manga, clay or pixel art, or leave it blank for a surprise. Studio includes up to three image generations per local calendar day; unused generations do not roll over. Review and edit each card before sending it. A failed generation returns its slot; if your connection drops after generation succeeds, the slot may still count. Avoid automatic retries and check your remaining allowance first.
Adding the widget
Touch and hold an empty area on your iPhone Home Screen, choose Edit → Add Widget, search for Yay You, and choose a size. Tap Add Widget, then Done. You can also open the widget setup guide from Home when no Yay You widget is installed.
The widget shows the latest available encouragement. iOS controls refresh timing, so an update may not appear immediately. If it looks out of date, open Yay You while connected to the internet and check that you are signed into the right account. Avoid placing sensitive messages on a Home Screen that others can see.
Making cards your own
Open Cards, choose a pack, then select one card. Tap Text to edit the message, drag the message to move it, and use Style, the color swatches and size slider to change its look. Use the circle menu at the top to choose who receives it.
Long-press and drag a pack in Cards to rearrange your collection. Your order is saved on that device.
Appearance and circles
Open You to choose light, dark or system appearance. Plus and Studio also include accent colors and alternate app icons.
Open a circle’s menu in People to leave it, or delete it if you are its owner. Check the confirmation carefully before continuing.
